Morpheus Simulacrum was a digital clone of the late Morpheus created by The General. It was first suspected that he was the real Morpheus, who was presumed dead after being killed by the Assassin.

Despite appearing to have the memories of the late Morpheus, he was extremely hesitant and confused when asked certain questions by people, as if he was not sure what he was suppose to do as Morpheus.
