SWAT team

S.W.A.T. (an acronym for Special Weapons and Tactics) are a force of bluepill humans in the Matrix that assist and serve as enforcers for the Agents.

In The Matrix[]

A SWAT team assists the Agents in the Hotel Ambush and capturing Morpheus.

The SWAT team in the Hotel Ambush were wearing sold black BDUs, armored gaiters, black leather combat boots, black Kevlar helmets with protective goggles, black balaclavas, and body armor with "POLICE" in white letters on the front.

All the SWAT team officers were armed with Australian-made Leader Dynamics T2 Mk5 "Commando" assault rifles fitted with custom tactical foregrips containing tactical flashlights and laser sights.

In Enter the Matrix[]

The SWAT team appear as an enemy in Enter the Matrix. They appear the first time in the second level called 'Get to the Hard Line.' In this level, police cars will chase you but when one of them is driving close to you and the passenger is shooting out of the police car you can see it is a SWAT member.

The SWAT team are the police special forces, so they generally have better equipment. As you progress in the story, the SWAT team will bring better weapons and tougher types of SWAT officers to fight against you.

SWAT Member[]

Regular SWAT (1) 1

These are the standard SWAT officers. They are dressed in dark blue, with 'police' in white letters embroidered on the front and the back of their uniform.

SWAT Member 2[]

They resemble the more common variety of SWAT members, but they do not wear a pair of glasses or a rag. Instead, they have a helmet with glass attached to it to protect their front faces.

SWAT Sniper[]

This type of SWAT member possesses sniper rifles. They can be recognized easily as they don't wear a helmet, but wear a cap and glasses instead.

Sewer SWAT[]

Sewer SWAT team

Sewer SWAT can be easily recognized, as they wear green instead of blue. Unlike the regular SWAT, they do not wear protective glasses. Instead, they wear a balaclava.

Elite SWAT[]

The toughest variety of SWAT member. They have a black helmet with black glass in front of their faces, a body armor and arms and blue and white camouflage pants. On the back of their bullet proof vest, their stands in white letters, 'S.W.A.T.'

In The Matrix: Path of Neo[]

In Path of Neo, Neo will encounter the SWAT team multiple times, with the goal of stopping Neo at all costs. Initially, SWAT are only armed with SMGs, but later on helicopters, Riot Shields and Grenade Launchers will be brought to fight against Neo.

Armored SWAT[]

Three 'Special' SWAT officers with heavy shotguns and assault rifles.

This type of SWAT officer is better armed and armored, being tougher to kill than regular SWAT officers. They are easily recognizable by their heavy armor, balaclava and earphones. Be wary on using firearms against these enemies, as you'll likely drain a good portion of your ammo; use your melee instead.

Elite SWAT[]

A 4 man 'Elite' SWAT members team.

The toughest common enemy variety. It is heavily advised to use melee combat, as Elite SWAT not only have very resistant armor, but also tend to have riot shields that will render all firearms moot. You can recognize Elite SWAT from the gas masks they wear.

Squad leaders of SWAT teams. You can easily recognize this variety, as they have no headwear aside from their earpiece. They wear a bulletproof vest with a green shirt under it, as well as light-brown pants.
