Mary Alice Smith (December 3, 1936 – July 27, 2022) known professionally as Mary Alice, was an American film, television, and stage actress. She portrayed The Oracle in The Matrix Revolutions, after the previous actor, Gloria Foster died from diabetes. The change of appearance in the movie was explained that the Oracle had to acquire a new shell, because The Merovingian had deletion codes of her previous shell at his disposal.
