Mobil Station

The Mobil Station (AKA Mobil Avenue) is a separate virtual 'world' designed by the program "The Trainman" as a smuggling portal for exiled programs to get into the Matrix, and for programs inside the Matrix to be smuggled into the machine world.

In some inexplicable way, after discovering his powers outside the Matrix, Neo fell in a coma; his mind and RSI was trapped in Mobil while not jacked into the Matrix, perhaps telepathically. Morpheus Trinity and Seraph threatened Merovingian and he allowed the Trainman to release Neo.

Mobil is an anagram for "limbo".
