Cats

I may have found out why did the authors use a cat in the deja vu scene. Turns out that prophet Muhammad had a cat called Muezza. Wikipedia article about it mentions this event:

What is also present in history books is that the Sufi leader Ahmed ar-Rifa'i did cut his sleeve because a cat was sleeping on it, then stitched it up later and said: "nothing changed".

This can be interpreted to mean that cats have the ability to persist across edits done to the Matrix. Also note that in the deva vu scene, Trinity says "deja vu ... happens when they change something", as if complementing the words of Ahmed ar-Rifa'i.

rename proposal

either this needs to be renamed so it's not confused with the comic book or vice versa, because currently the only difference is capitalization of the V or lack thereof. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Macks2010 (talkcontribs) 20:51, 22 March 2017‎

There are hatnotes at the top of each article so that readers can easily find the other one they're looking for, so I'm not sure if renaming them would help people find the article they were looking for. But yeah it would be possible. Are you thinking of something like Déjà Vu (comic) and or Déjà vu (phenomenon)? Could rename both and create a disambiguation page to direct to one or the other? --xensyriaT 12:54, May 17, 2017 (UTC)
