[edit] Biography

Trinity is one of many operatives, or resistance members, from the last human city, Zion, whose goal is to defeat the efforts of the Machine intelligence to hold humanity hostage within the Matrix. Before being freed from the Matrix, Trinity (her name as she lived as a bluepill is unknown) was a computer cracker who broke into the IRS d-base.

Assigned to the Zion hovercraft Nebuchadnezzar, Trinity works with her captain, Morpheus, to seek minds that would accept the truth of the Matrix and subvert the Machine's hold on mankind.

Trinity believes Neo to be the one, as does Morpheus. She believes it because the Oracle told her that she would be in love with the one. When Neo is killed by Smith she declares her love for him and kisses him. She tells him to get up, which he does. The moment is significant as that where Neo finally accepts himself as the messiah foretold.

Later in The Matrix Revolutions when Neo goes missing, Trinity, Morpheus, and Seraph go in search of him. Believing him to be yet inside the Matrix. In a confrontation with the Frenchman Trinity Shows that she is willing to sacrifice everything and anything for Neo. The Frenchman's wife states that this is do to the immense love she has for him. Later she Restates this as her reason for joining Neo on his suicide mission to Machine City.

Tragically this is where Trinity meets her end. The Ship Comes under attack and Neo advises they fly into the sky. Trinity sits in awe as she lays her eyes on the sun for the first time. Finally the Logos crashes, and she is impaled by power cables. Neo frantically tries to find Trinity and when he finds her she tells him that she cannot continue the journey with him.
